Carmen is a depth therapist who believes that therapy is sacred work. She believes that through inner work and exploration, one can discover what's beneath the surface, uncovering the patterns, and discovering what the soul longs for.

Carmen honors each client’s unique history, experiences, and their contributions to the world. She is thoughtful, collaborative, supportive and appreciates a sense of humor.

With her rich and dynamic approach, she blends  depth psychological techniques such as working with dreams, using the imaginal, guided imagery  including DBT approaches.

Through her work, she has witnessed interpersonal restoration, deepened insight, and a renewed sense of hope.

Carmen’s heartfelt wish is that, through their therapeutic process, her clients discover a deep well of inner strength and the resilience to trust the journey before them.

Special Interests: Carmen’s love for raptors (birds of prey) has opened the door to explore their relationship to human psyche. She believes birds carry with them wisdom and strength that can bring a new perspective to circumstances, thus deepening understanding and awareness. In her free time, Carmen enjoys birdwatching, spending time in nature, and trips to Big Sur.
